Accomplishments

    Based on our group's research findings I developed and lead the global Practice-based Research Networks (PBRNs) initiative within the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA) in collaboration with 60 distinguished research leaders from all the world.

    The initiative with the objective to support cross-continental research collaborations, innovative research methodologies, acceleration of knowledge sharing and a global learning community for the Family Medicine and Primary Care.


    Provides guidance on developing Practice-based Research Networks (PBRNs) in Pirkanmaa, Finland, and in Portugal through the national initiative.


    Possess a strong capacity for organizing and coordinating international workshops, webinars, and forums for science communication, bringing together researchers, experts, and stakeholders from various backgrounds.


    Reviewer with BMJ (British Medical Journal), possesses expertise in health research enabling the evaluation of research articles within the area of knowledge ensuring the quality and integrity of the research published in the journal.
