My name is Annya Kamel. I'm twenty one years old, I am an American Egyptian citizen who is native in both English and Arabic. I graduated from Laurea University of Applied Sciences in Finland with a Bachelor degree in a dual major in Hospitality Management and Service Design. Interestingly enough the part of my major that focuses on Service Design taught me how to create services for others and how to overall be capable of providing them as well.
I have lived a very versatile life, moving around from one place to another while growing up thus being exposed to a variety of different cultures and individuals. I completed the Hilton University online program as well as an internship at Hilton Airport in Vantaa, Finland. I then worked for a few months as a part time receptionist at this very same Hilton branch. Not only was I working with clients in booking and monitoring weekly financial trends but I worked with The Hilton sales team to help create future strategies to improve the hotel's services.
I have taken part in a variety of different projects and work endeavors over the years. However, a memorable project I once took part in with my colleagues at University was opening our own restaurant along with designing and running it from start to finish for a short window of time. I have also been hired by local hotels in Finland to come review and monitor their progression rates in a variety of given fields. I absolutely enjoyed my experience helping others and working with my fellow colleagues. I would like to additionally mention that I take my job very seriously and I am extremely patient and professional when on the job. This does not change the fact that I am a very optimistic and enthusiastic individual.
