Summary
A dedicated - bilingual - young athlete who participates at a high level in mountain biking, freeride and telemark skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, martial arts and long-distance dogsled racing. Selected for Finland's Middle School Athlete Programme in 2023 and 2004, with participation in national and international competitions such as the National Enduro Championships and the upcoming World Championships in Long Distance DogSled Racing. Reasonable proficiency in bike and ski maintenance and a desire to learn more.
Committed to advancing personal performance across many outdoor sports while pursuing opportunities to compete at elite levels. - Part of a crew issuing, (and collecting back in), appropriately-sized winter boots and overalls at the airport to up to 300 UK clients per day arriving in resort for 'Daybreaks' in Lapland.

Volunteer Trainee Mechanic

- I have my own E-moped and quadbike and am always keen to learn how to maintain them. Volunteering at the local garage 2 days per week for a number of weeks in my summer holidays was something I initiated myself simply to learn a little more about mechanics. Whilst there, I:
- Helped with basic office cleaning and tidying
- Handled heavy equipment and tools, from multi-purpose jacks to mobile column lifts.
- Helped with changing, rotating and balancing tyres to ensure even wear, and learned how to do basic mechanical fixes on cars, quads, snowmobiles and motorbikes.

Skills
In 2023 selected to participate in Finland's Olympic Training Programme for Middle school Athletes in both Mountain Biking and Freeride Skiing (Provisionally also accepted into the kayaking pathway but the training centre was too far south)
MTB was probably my preferred sport initially, and in the summer of 2024, I participated in the National Enduro Championships in Levi, in the Ylläs-Levi XC Mtb Race and the Sariselka XC bike race
In 2024-25, there were insufficient numbers of students applying for the 'joint education' pathway in biking, so I have only been able to continue with freeride under Sami Suhonen Hoping to take part in the FWT Junior competition in Narvik in Spring 2025
Because of my sporting interests, I am familiar with snowboards, telemark, downhill and park skis and their bindings I feel confident giving basic advice to clients with simple questions about these
I also have basic bike maintenance skills - some of which I acquired through Zero Point Levi where the maintenance guys helpfully answered 1000 questions when helping me to prep my bike for last summer's races
In January 2025, I qualified for the World Championships in Long Distance DogSled Racing, and in February, I will participate in the World Championships in the Finnish Junior Team There, I will run with my 6 dogs alone for 160km on Norwegian Trails

- In summer I like to bike and hike on long distance trails and spend a lot of time paddling on lakes and rivers.
