Stock Keeper
8 Years 10 Months- As a Stock Keeper with Saint Vincent Group, I was responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and tracking inventory to ensure goods were accurately accounted for and readily available when needed, as well as displaying them in retail shops. This role involves maintaining stock records, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting smooth warehouse operations. My key responsibilities include;
- Receive incoming shipments, check for damage, and verify quantities against purchase orders or delivery notes
- Unload, sort, scan, label, and store goods in designated locations within the warehouse and the shops, as well as stocking them on the shelves
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Monitor stock levels and flag low inventory or reorder points to my manager.
- Pick, pack, and prepare items for dispatch or internal use.
- Ensure proper storage conditions (such as temperature, stacking limits, hazardous material handling)
- Keep the warehouse/stockroom clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Report damaged, expired, or missing goods to my manager
- Assist with periodic audits and inventory reconciliation
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and barcode scanners
