Project: Bioremediating aquaculture wastewater

• Carried out experiments and research following protocols laid out by primary researchers.
• Performed quantitative chemical measurements of different organic and inorganic nutrients and oxygen
• Performed BOD and COD of water samples
• Determined concentrations of nitrate, nitrite, urea, and ammonia in water
• Tested samples for concentration of particulate solids by measuring Total Solids (TS), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) through vacuum filtration.
• Wrote reports to summarise data and implications of results.
• Applied brainpower to analyse results and resolve any operational issues that occurred during experiments.
