Bunifu Go is a school transport platform that enhances safety & efficiency by integrating IOT and Telematics. With over 10,000 users, tracking over a million KM and managing over 40,000 trips

Husika is an intergovernmental communication platform that addresses Early warning communication and feedback for 11 countries in the Horn of Africa.

• Engaged with stakeholders to define the business problem, and develop the solution architecture & road map for the product.
• Worked with the engineering team in database design, software architecture, UI & UX design and choice of the technology stack
• Determine “best fit” criteria for matching problem statement, prevailing market conditions and technologies and recommending the best mix based on features, price, and timeline.
• Work with the software team and consultants in delivering the product as per the roadmap following agile software methodologies
• Communicated with partners and clients to update product and implementation status at a technical or functional level.
• Use database queries to analyze performance indicators, and evaluate experiments among others.
• Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.

Bunifu ERP is a suite of solutions to manage the day-to-day operations of primary & secondary institutions of learning. At its peak, the product was used by close to 30 institutions.

• Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Assess and address technical risks. Understand and analyze data pipelines, algorithms, data backups, rollovers and audit queries.
• Research, and follow technical trends in the industry including aligning the product with the Government audit and taxation regulations, laws and laws.
• Manage product sprints, stories and backlog
• Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.

• Coordinated project planning and execution with team members and team leads. That led to the launch of the first African Antivirus solution. Bunifu Antivirus
• Conducted market research to identify new opportunities and target markets. We launched globally with three resellers; 2 in Africa and 1 for EMEA
• Participated in sales and marketing strategy and execution. Managed to cross the 70,000-plus downloads in 2015
• Identifying and building strategic partnerships. Among them TESPOK (Technology Service Providers of Kenya), Baringo County Government & NACOSTI (National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation)
• Research and development that informed product road map & requirements, in a fast-paced information security landscape.
• Managed project timelines effectively while juggling multiple priorities, consistently meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
