I work as a warehouse worker at Kesko Oyj's logistics center in Kempele. My tasks include receiving goods, dispatching goods, and tracking shipments. Additionally, before starting my studies, I worked as a team leader, where I was responsible for creating work schedules and supervising employees. I am still employed at Kesko, but currently, my contract is for zero hours, meaning I work when called in.
I work as an interpreter for Finnish Interpreting Services Ltd. My job is to interpret for all Finnish authorities, such as the police, the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela), the Finnish Immigration Service, etc. Due to the COVID-19 situation, most interpretations have had to be conducted remotely either via telephone interpretation or through various applications.
