Summary

Dr. Otieno Mbare has actively had over18 years of teaching experience at the Turku University of Applied Sciences (TUAS) until end of October, 2024. He is a distinguished lecturer of international business, responsible business management, marketing and a plethora of business courses. As a dedicated faculty member, Dr.Mbare is very passionate about enhancing the educational offerings of higher learning institutions. His pedagogical approach is anchored on the university's pedagogical concept commonly called Innopedia. Innopedia is a pedagogical approach which aims at intergrating the needs of future skills into teaching. Dr. Mbare pocesses extensive expertise in supervising graduate and postgraduate theses, as well as developing project proposals and overseeing the implementation of development projects.

His current research interests focuses on internationalization, and business sustainability. Dr. Otieno Mbare has been involved in North-South-South Projects, GeoICT4e, and EU-Erasmus projects. He has also represented a network of Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences in overseeing the successful administration and interviewing of foreign applicants (in Africa) into the Finnish Universities since2011-2017 as the region coordinator.

Dr. Mbare is a multifaceted Senior Lecturer with a doctorate degree and proven disciplinary expertise. Taught rigorous graduate-level courses at large university and earned high approval ratings from students during past year. Strong subject matter knowledge and excellent communications skills enabled achievement of optimum outcomes.

He possesses versatile skills in project management, problem-solving, and collaboration. Dr. Mbare brings fresh perspective and strong commitment to quality and success. Recognized for adaptability and proactive approach in delivering effective solutions. Education professional with strong history of developing impactful educational strategies and fostering academic excellence.
