AVQL & AEHB 5G/LTE Radio :

L1Low SW functionality can be divided to two main groups, Non-real time (NRT) configuration and Real-time (RT) configuration for Nokia ECPRI Radio module.

Responsibilities:

Implementation of FCP (Fast control plane) Realtime L1Low configuration Implementation of Non-Realtime configuration of L1Low Maintenance and bug fixing in the responsible areas.

ASIB-ABIO OTAVA Integration:

In OTAVA (Over The Air Validation) camp , I was part of ASIB with ABIO capacity unit and ASIL with ABIA capacity unit integration activities.

Responsibilities:

Debug the issues from ASIB system module side Check the performance of the eNB from end to end prospective Contribute towards the L3 call readiness and speed up the end to end delivery

ASIB 5G/LTE System module :

ASIB uses new AXM5616 64 bit processor, it is an enhancement to AXM5516 processor.It has up to 2x performance compared to AXM5516 due to the increased backhaul and C-Plane capacity. 10GE Marvell Ethernet switch improves ASIB connectivity (6 capacity units) and ethernet bandwidth/capacity. And it enables 5G capacity units on ASIB.

ASOC/LTE Nucleus on Lionfish:

LTE Nucleus on Lionfish is a single SOC LTE Base Station product. ASOC uses Axxia Communication Processor (AXC6732) with 32 real time cores. AXC6732 is a 64 bit Network-processor which is optimized for the user-plane / transport protocols processing.

ASIA/Nokia Airscale system module :

Nokia Airscale system module has two parts common unit and capacity unit. Where Transport Software runs on common unit ASIA, which uses AXM5516 32 bit processor with 16 real time cores.

Responsibilities :

Responsibility involves coding and bug fixing. Fastpath packet processing and configurations.

Implementation & Maintenance of Fastpath IWF (Interworking function) using Nokia Event Machine (EM) framework for TRSW system module.

Implementation of SystemD service files for Transport software start-up.

Enhancement & Maintenance of VTC (Virtual Transport Core) .

CISCO ZAPPER - STi5197 DVBC/ZAPPER:

CISCO Zapper is a Set Top Box application for Indian and South American market. The existing software runs on Nucleus OS. The work effort is to port the existing software to OS21.

Responsibilities:

Implementing/adapting the existing functionalities. and Porting from Nucleus OS to OS21 and testing the functionalities.

ALU Mobility Management Controller V4:

The existing ALU MMC software builds and runs on a SUN/Oracle SPARC Solaris based machine. The work effort is to port the existing MMC software base to a new hardware AP with a new Linux Operating System.

Responsibilities:

Involves Coding and Porting from Solaris to Linux. Involved in bug fixing.
