COVID-19 Emergency and Crisis Response Facility Project

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) provided funding for this initiative to assist small and medium-sized businesses that were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of this project was to support credit expansion and reduce liquidity constraints brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic for CMSME (Cottage, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) in Bangladesh. As a Project officer of this initiative, I was tasked with debt financing, rescheduling, and monitoring the event of default. By lowering the default rate under this refinancing plan from 1.78% to 0.70%, I was able to effectively control credit default.
