• In this project I was working on optimizing the use of HANA calculation views in Informatica PowerCenter ETL tool. The Informatica PowerCenter ETL tool was not performing well and it lead to a situation where the entire inmemory on HANA server was getting full. So in addition to HANA views , I had to learn basics of Informatica PowerCenter ETL tool to deliver the right solution.
  

In House Product Development for HANA platform for ONE Neon Tool

• In this project I was working on a proactive SAP HANA data loading management tool. I was the SAP HANA & UI5 developer for this tool. It offered an environment for hybrid reporting landscape to monitor business critical data loads only. Therefore, this tool offered a much-needed functional take on data loading, prioritized by business needs.
  

Contracting & Procurement – project: eOSCAR @ Shell International, Netherlands

• This project was a complete re-design and rebuild of the complete Contracting & Procurement reporting portfolio from BW models and reports to native HANA reporting – consisting of a data model with 10 ERP systems.
• The initial implementation in BW was a 5-year effort with a variety of reports ranging from global spend reports, materials management reports and requisition to payment reports. In HANA, along with a high-performance data model, we have taken the opportunity to switch from static reporting in Business Objects (Webi) to delivering dynamic dashboards in PowerBI.
• I was involved with design and development of HANA models – Calculation view, Procedures, Table Functions etc and also was the go to resource when any technical challenges arose.

Contracting & Procurement – CP DataLake @ Shell International, Netherlands
The project involved creating a datalake in HANA (data pulled from ERS system) which could be used by other systems but mainly SAP BW. Standard BW datasources in SAP ERS were replaced by using SLT and then HANA views were created for consumption.
I was working on modelling the HANA views and adjusting the BW dataflow to use the new datasources. I was also working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverable and responsible for assigning work to team members. I created associated technical documents, test plans and procedures and also documentation of test results. I was the main resource for resolution of issues raised during SIT & UAT. I provided the client with the business impact of issue, analysis of possible solutions and implementation of the same.
