Inclusion Specialist Role

• Develop and support systematic approach and tools for realization of rights and participation of persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups in Plan International Finland supported development programme in cooperation with Plan International Country Offices (Ethiopia, Laos, Mozambique, Myanmar, Uganda). Plan International development programme seeks to advance Gender Equality and Girls' Rights especially through promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).
• Develop and support disability inclusion in Plan International Finland supported humanitarian actions funded by e.g. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland and the European Union (Ethiopia, Jordan, Nigeria, Zimbabwe).
• Support capacities of Plan Finland and Country Office staff to identify and address impact of intersectionality of diverse and marginalized identities e.g. gender, disability, ethnicity or other.
• Support to development and coordination of inclusive approaches in Plan International Global programme and influence work. Member and co-chair of the Plan Global Disability Inclusion Working Group. Contribute to Plan Global Gender and Inclusion Working Group.
• Support development of intersectional approach and gender transformative approach in Plan International programme design and implementation
• Represent Plan International federation in international networks and platforms such as International Disability & Development Consortium (IDCC) and Reference Group on Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Action.
• Contribute to Plan International Finland project and proposal design in development and humanitarian sectors.
• Contribute to development of programmatic quality in line with Plan International strategic guidelines

Programme Manager Role

• Management of Plan International Finland supported actions in Lao PDR in cooperation with Plan International Laos
• Support the Plan International Laos country office in design, implementation and monitoring of the SRHR programme and related Plan International Finland supported projects in the country
• Donor liaison with Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland and the Delegation of the European Union in Lao PDR.

• Set up FRC country office and programme in Myanmar
• Designed the country strategy plan for FRC Myanmar in line with FRC global strategy
• Led the country programme with focus in conflict affected border areas in thematic fields of vocational education, civil society strengthening and gender including Sexual and gender, including sexual and gender based violence (SGBV). Programme implementation in Kayah state expanding to Kachin state. Was responsible for the programmatic partnerships with government authorities and civil society organizations.
• Designed for Human Resource strategy and led HR management in FRC Myanmar
• Was responsible for the financial management and monitoring of the country programme
• Explored and expanded funding opportunities for Myanmar country programme
• Liaison with donor agencies and development partners
• Official representative of FRC in the country. Liaison with the Government authorities, including MoUs and approvals at national and state levels
• Liaised and collaborated with relevant stakeholders and networks including INGOs, UN agencies, national and local organizations. Set up and led of INGO TVET coordination group

• Supported and oversaw the FELM development country programme in Nepal
• Coordinated partnerships and cooperation with national Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). Programme covered partnership with 9 CSOs working in 30 districts in the thematic areas of community development, food security, education, health, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) and rights of persons with disability.
• Contributed to strategic planning of the country programme as well as to FELM global development programme. Ensured that the development country programme in the region is in line with organizational strategic objectives and requirements, and requirements of the donor agencies.
• Co-developed disability inclusion tool for FELM global development programme.
• Followed, analyzed and communicated political, social and economic development in the country
• Liaised with relevant stakeholders including national and local government representatives, donor agencies, INGOs and NGOs. FELM representative in Association of International NGOs in Nepal (AIN)
• Was responsible for disaster reduction management and humanitarian actions of the organization in the country. Responsible for the FELM humanitarian response, coordination and implementation responding the humanitarian crisis after the massive earthquake in Nepal April 2015
• FELM is one of the largest Finnish development organizations working globally in over 30 countries.

• Set up national Support Center for Migrants with Disabilities
• Overall responsibility for the the design, management and implementation of activities of the centre including financial management
• Liaised and collaborated with relevant stakeholders; with focus in Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Internal affairs of Finland, Members of European Parliament and non-governmental organizations in national and international levels to enhance equal rights and prevent discrimination. Enhanced cooperation and partnerships with organizations representing diverse minority groups e.g. LGBTIQ+, ethnic minority and migrant communities.
• Finland's Disability Forum is an umbrella organization of more than 30 national organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs). The Forum enhances rights of persons with disabilities and is the representative of Finnish OPDs in national and international levels
• The Support Centre promotes equity and rights of persons with disabilities, minority rights and prevention of discrimination. Specific focus in refugees and migrants with disabilities and special needs through counseling, awareness raising, material production and advocacy on disability rights, minority rights and prevention on multiple discrimination

• Overall responsibility for the management of a Service Project for the Migrants with Disabilities.
• The Project provided support to migrants and refugees with disabilities through counseling and other social services.
• Scaled up the local level project into a national level support centre working with minority rights in under Finland's Disability Forum

• Diverse assistant and clerical tasks in Käpylä Rehabilitation Center operating under Finnish Association of People with Physical Disabilities.

• Supported IOM Cambodia in project planning and monitoring with focus on War Widows Assistance Project (WWAP) and action supporting safe return for trafficked children
• Deepened knowledge in project design and monitoring, as well as thematically knowledge in the field of reintegration and enhancing livelihood opportunities of vulnerable women and children in Cambodia
